A magnificent retreat in the heart of the Alpujarras Spain

Cortijo Casería del Mercado is an organic farm in rural southern Spain. Offering accommodation in the heart of the Alpujarra mountains, honouring nature, ecology and tradition!

Not only is the Cortijo a working farm, it has also been adapted as a retreat centre with traditional Spanish accommodation, a natural mineral water swimming pool, two indoor yoga studios & one outdoor training space, all with breath-taking views.

We are proud to practice biodynamic farming to produce a huge array of fully organic fruit and vegetables on site.

For people who stay in our Cortijo, we offer organic products exclusively from the garden. We do not have a restaurant service.
Another option to try our organic products is by hiring a chef for groups and retreats.

The Cortijo has several apartments that have been lovingly restored. Most apartments are complete with a living room, kitchen, fireplace or wood stove, spacious bedrooms and attached bathrooms.
